About
Osmar Terra is a physician trained at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a master’s in Neuroscience, and a federal deputy of Brazil for Rio Grande do Sul, now in his seventh term. He has been mayor of Santa Rosa, Secretary of Health of Rio Grande do Sul, Minister of Social Development and Minister of Citizenship. He conceived the Primeira Infância Melhor (PIM) program and created the Criança Feliz program, which received the international WISE Award in 2019.
