María Victoria Peralta

María Victoria Peralta is an early childhood educator and music teacher from the Universidad de Chile, with a master's in Social Sciences and a doctorate in Education. In 2019 she received Chile’s National Prize for Education Sciences, the first early childhood educator to do so. She worked at JUNJI, Fundación Integra and the Ministry of Education, has consulted for the OAS, UNICEF and UNESCO, and was OMEP’s regional vice president for Latin America. She is part of the International Institute for Early Childhood Education of the Universidad Central de Chile.
