Halim Antonio Girade is a physician with a master's in Political Science. He is an advisor to the presidency of the Court of Accounts of the State of Goiás and coordinator of the Early Childhood Committee of the Instituto Rui Barbosa (IRB). He was a national secretary at Brazil’s Ministry of Social Development and headed UNICEF offices in Belém and Manaus.
